Man in 30s dies in early hours Cumbrian crash

A man in his 30s has died in a collision in the early hours of yesterday.

Emergency services were called at around 12.25am yesterday, Sunday February 23, following a report of a collision between a white pick-up and a pedestrianĀ on the B6412 inĀ Temple Sowerby.

The pedestrian, a man in his 30s from the Eden area, was declared dead at the scene.

A man and a woman, both in their 50s have been arrested in connection with the incident. They remain in police custody.

Anyone who witnessed what occurred or has with any information, including any CCTV or dashcam footage, which could help the investigation, is urged to contact police.
