A Lake District junior school will reopen on a new site later this year.
Work is continuing on Windermere Junior School at the Browhead campus on Patterdale Road from its existing Elleray campus.
The new school will be officially opened on May 16 by Westmorland & Lonsdale MP Tim Farron.
Head of Windermere School, Frank Thompson, said: ‘Bringing our junior and senior schools together on the Browhead campus enriches our community and enhances the educational journey for all our pupils.
“We eagerly anticipate welcoming families to our grand opening event to experience the exciting developments at Windermere School.
