Five arrests after drugs raids in Barrow

Five people have been arrested after police raided two addresses in Barrow.

Police raided the homes on Keppel Street and Blake Street today, Wednesday March 19.

As a result, five people have been arrested on suspicion of various drug supply and possession offences.

Officers also seized a quantity of class C tablets, cash, and suspected drugs paraphernalia at the warrant carried out at Keppel Street.

A quantity of class A drugs and class C tablets were seized from the property on Blake Street.

The warrants were carried out by Barrow Neighbourhood Policing officers with officers from Operational Support.

Cumbria Constabulary said the warrant on Keppel Street was carried out as part of the Clear phase of Clear, Hold, Build in the Hindpool area.

Officers continue to appeal for information on suspected drug offences within your community.
