A walker was rescued by helicopter after hurting her ankle at a current accident hotspot in the Lake District.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team was called to Eagle Crag at Stonethwaite on Tuesday at around 2.55pm.
The team said: “We were heading to a lady that had gone over on her ankle while descending one of our current incident hotspots.
“The team deployed and assessed the casualty’s injury. As the casualty was on very steep and broken ground it was decided that helicopter assistance would be requested.”
The Coastguard helicopter arrived and transferred the walker to valley bottom where further Keswick Mountain Rescue Team members and vehicles were waiting.
