Jim Nichols has returned to Penrith Football Club as first team manager.
Darren Edmondson resigned from his post 10 days ago and was subsequently announced as the new manager of Workington Reds.
His assistant, Richard Prokas, follows him to Borough Park.
Penrith confirmed this morning that Nichols would return to Frenchfield.
He had a previous spell as manager in 2015 to 2016. He left just after the start of the 2017-18 season, when he was replaced by Kyle May.
Nichols will be assisted by Alan Ingles. The duo were previously in charge of Carlisle City, where they spent five years.
