A new mural has been unveiled in Carlisle’s Lowther Arcade.
The artwork was designed and painted by Woskerski, a renowned street artist, and features imagery of flying geese – symbolising movement, unity, and transformation.
The mural was delivered in collaboration with Blank Wall Assassins, a non-profit organisation celebrated for injecting creativity and life into urban spaces.
Within the 1904 Grade-II listed Lowther Arcade, which links Lowther Street to English Street, the installation forms part of the wider regeneration of English Street, delivered through the Carlisle Southern Gateway project, which forms part of the council’s £100 million regeneration programme for Carlisle, supported by the Government’s Future High Streets Fund, Town Deal and Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal initiative.
