A man will appear in court today in connection with two incidents in Carlisle this week.
The incidents occurred on Botchergate and at the Halston car park on Warwick Road on Wednesday, June 4.
Stuart Sanderson, 57, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and two counts of attempted kidnap – common law.
He is due to appear at Carlisle Magistrates Court today, Friday June 6.
