Three fire crews have tackled a waste wagon blaze in north Cumbria.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service was called at around 8.20am today, Wednesday June 11, to the Hespin Wood recycling centre, near Rockcliffe.
Crews discovered a wagon tractor unit was well alight, and had spread to the load, which was compacted household waste.
The crews from Carlisle East, Brampton Fire Station and Lazonby Fire Station, extinguished the fire.
Nobody was injured.
