Whitehaven Rugby League Club has asked anyone with information about an incident between fans yesterday to come forward.
The club said there was an incident between its fans and Swinton supporters yesterday and asked if anyone had any video footage or saw it to get in touch.
It added: “We take incidents like this very serious and action will be taken following the investigation.
“This is a club that prides itself on being a family friendly club and we will not tolerate bad behaviour.”
