
Swinton Lions’ Dan Abram has signed for Whitehaven on loan.
Abram had one season with the West Cumbrian club in 2018 where he cemented his status as a cult fans favourite securing back-to-back derby victories versus Workington Town, converting last minute touchline conversions on both occasions.
Abram’s single season with Whitehaven saw him make 28 appearances scoring 10 tries and kick 95 goals for a total points haul of 230 points.
He picked up the player of the year award at the club’s end of season awards night.
Since departing the club he has represented Rochdale, Oldham and the Lions and has amassed over 1, 100 points in his career which started with Cumbrian neighbours Barrow Raiders in 2016.
