An abandoned tent – and rubbish – in the Lake District prompted a call out for a mountain rescue team during Storm Floris.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team had to battle the weather on Monday to reach the tent above Alisongrass Hoghouse at Stonethwaite/Langstrath.
Cumbria police had been called by a concerned member of the public on Sunday evening as the tent was pitched in a relatively inaccessible location.
Police requested an investigation/welfare check.
On Monday at 8.30am, Keswick Mountain Rescue Team attended.

The team: “With Storm Floris in full flow a small team drove to Fairy Glen to investigate.
“The team battled dense bracken and slippery rock to gain the tent site.
“The abandoned tent was found with mouldering contents including food, milk and a sodden sleeping bag.
“This was collected and brought down to be properly disposed of. Yet another case of fly campers!”
