A man will appear in court next month, accused of two counts of burglary.
David Winkley-Balmer, 29, of Buchanan Road, Carlisle, was remanded and appeared before Carlisle Magistrates Court on Friday, August 8, and is due to return to court on September 8.
Inspector Mo Bibby, of Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We know being a victim of burglary can have a huge impact on victims having their home invaded and can be an incredibly traumatising and distressing experience.
“We take burglary offences extremely seriously and are committed to reducing offences and will act upon information we receive from the public.
“Support from our communities is vital in helping us investigating such offences so please continue to report information to us.”
