
An appeal for witnesses of a collision, which led to a section of the M6 being closed for hours, has been made.
Police were called shortly before 3.45am on Monday, August 11, following a collision on the M6 between Southwaite Services and junction 42.
The collision, which involved two HGVs and a car, led to both carriageways being closed resulting in significant disruption.
One of the HGV drivers suffered a minor injury, with no other injuries reported.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and if they have any relevant dashcam footage.
