A speeding Kendal driver was arrested after he tested positive for drugs.
Cumbria Police initially stopped the driver for breaking the speed limit during during Op Colossus, an operation targeting road safety across Cumbria.
The driver then tested positive for drug driving and has been taken into custody.
Operation Colossus runs alongside Operation Enhance – a long-standing crackdown on anti-social behaviour hotspot areas.
The operation was launched after concerns were raised by communities experiencing anti-social driving across Cumbria.
