A poor weather forecast across Cumbria tomorrow will have various cricket clubs searching the skies for clues.
The race for the Cumbria League’s Premier Division title is at a crucial stage with just three weeks of the season left.
Furness have an eight point lead over Keswick while Cockermouth are four points further back.
Furness haven’t far to travel tomorrow as they visit Dalton, who have made a good fist of their return to the Premier Division.
Keswick are at home to bottom side Egremont who could be relegated with defeat.
Cockermouth travel to Workington as outsiders of the three, and they don’t have a pro to stand in for Shrikant Mundhe who has returned home early.
However it will be a big day for 16-year-old wicket-keeper Cameron White, set for his first team debut.
He’s the son of Cockermouth opener Gareth White and grandson of the Sandair legend the late Ken White.
Elsewhere, Cleator host Millom and Wigton entertain Whitehaven.
