A closure order has been served by police on an address in Penrith associated with anti-social behaviour, noise nuisance and other issues.
Police took the action on Tuesday at Grey Bull Gardens.
The full closure order will be in force for three months.
The order bans anyone from entering the property, except:
- The landlord (Castle & Coasts Housing Association) and their appointed agents
- Any future lawful tenant of the property (excluding the named previous tenant) and their lawful visitors
- Cumbria Constabulary for the purposes of enforcing the order.
Anyone found breaching the order will be liable to arrest and upon conviction imprisonment and/or fine.
Inspector Mo Bibby, of Cumbria Constabulary, said: “We are committed to taking action against individuals whose behaviour has a profoundly negative impact on those around them in the community.”
