The Holmen Iggesund Cumberland League’s Premier Division title will be decided a week tomorrow.

Maryport will host Seaton Rangers in a straight shootout for the honour of finishing champions.

The two sides finished level on points and with points differential no longer counting a play-off will decide the outcome.

Neither have the benefit of a game to warm-up for the big one.

Maryport’s final two games were both against Askam, who pulled out of the league earlier in the season.

Seaton, on the other hand, were due to play their final games this week but Glasson forfeited on Wednesday and Cockermouth did likewise for tomorrow’s game.

Glasson, however, will play their scheduled Premier Division game tomorrow at home to Wath Brow A who finished third in the table.

The other Premier Division game for tomorrow is a home game for Flimby to Lowca, the side who have pipped them to the final top four place.

The other three games this weekend are all in Division One, fixtures which will decide the top four finishing order.

Two of them are tonight with Division One winners Kells A travelling to Egremont A, currently lying fourth, two points better off than Distington A.

Tomorrow Distington A host second-in-the-table Aspatria while the other game tonight is third-placed Hensingham A at home to bottom side Maryport A.
