
Westmorland & Furness Council’s Voreda House in Penrith is closed due to flooding.
In a social media post today, Wednesday September 17, it said the building would be closed to the public and staff for the rest of the week.
The council said the facilities management team discovered flooding on the building’s first floor.
It said it was now working to assess the extent of the issue.
