Greg, Nicola and Kieran Waters

A family has made history at Carlisle Golf Club as the first to win all its major championships.

Greg Waters captured the Seniors Club Championship, adding to his outstanding record of 14 Men’s Club Championship victories and now three seniors titles since becoming eligible.

His son Kieran won the Men’s Club Championship for the third time, while Kieran’s wife, Nicola triumphed in the Ladies’ Club Championship.

Together, the trio claimed all three of Carlisle Golf Club’s premier titles, making it a unique family treble that will be remembered for years to come.

The Waters family already have a proud record of championship success at Carlisle, and this year’s clean sweep adds another extraordinary chapter to their golfing story.

Nicola previously lifted the Ladies’ title under her maiden name, but this was her first as a Waters. In her winner’s speech she joked that she would now be accepted into the family.

Nicola also the County Ladies Strokeplay Championship this year at Silloth Golf Club and her mum, Alyson Wood is Ladies Club Champion at Furness Golf Club.
