A Lake District mountain rescue team has urged walkers to make sure they are prepared.
Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team said conditions were getting very challenging on Scafell Pike, and shared a photograph of the same place just two hours apart.
It warned that with further rain forecast, it was likely that the ‘stream’ crossing on the tourist path would be impassable at times.
