Carlisle City were out of luck when they entered the Isuzu FA Vase draw for the first time.
Exempt until the first round proper they were drawn away to Euxton Villa, with the tie being played on Saturday October 18.
Euxton Villa currently play in the North West Counties Premier Division and are lying 19th of 24 teams.
Holker Old Boys, the other Cumbrian side involved in the first round draw were also out of luck as they were drawn away to Wythenshawe.
That’s a tough task as the Old Boys play in NW Counties Division One North while Wythenshawe are currently third in the Premier Division, a level higher.
Holker clinched their place in the first round proper with a 3-0 home win last night over Route One Rovers after the tie had been washed out on Saturday.
Charlie McGladdery had given them an early 8th minute lead and in the second half there were further goals from Joe McGladdery (72) and Luke Davey in the fourth minute of added time.
There will be 105 ties at this stage of the competition, with winning clubs receiving £825 from the competition prize fund while losing teams will get £250.
