England Lioness Georgia Stanway has been honoured in her home town of Barrow.
Furniture store Stollers has unveiled a 6m mural of the footballer on the side of its Walney Road building.
It was created by artist Chris Dorning, of Ulverston, and was officially revealed today.
Stollers said in a Facebook post: “After another incredible summer for the Lionesses at the Euros, we wanted to show our support, celebrate someone who inspires so many, and shine a spotlight on a true local legend.
“Georgia – you’ve done Barrow proud.”
Georgia played a key role in the 2025 Euros campaign and was also part of the 2023 squad, which reached the final of the Women’s World Cup. In Euro 2022, her plucky performance helped England reach the semi-finals.
She was named Cumbria’s Sports Personality of the Year in 2023.
