Hensingham are chasing back-to-back promotions after reaching the League Two play-off final.
After going up through that route a year ago from Division Three, the West Cumbrians are preparing this week for Saturday’s showdown.
They will travel to St Helens again, after overcoming Clock Face Miners on Saturday, and take on Pilkington Recs.
There was talk of all three grand finals being staged at Featherstone’s Millennium Stadium but only the grand final and Division One finals will be staged there.
At the weekend Hensingham won 22-10 at Clock Face Miners while Pilkington Recs, at home to Normanton Knights, were 44-10 winners.
Although the Miners scored first after 12 minutes with an unconverted try from Nathan Benson, it was the only time they were behind.
They took the lead four minutes later with a try from Luke Charlton which was converted by Adam Williamson.
They still led 6-4 at the break but a minute after the re-start Ben Pearce scored a second try which Williamson converted.
Twenty minutes from the end Miller Dalton went in for a third Hensingham try.
It really was all over when Jordan Pitt crashed over for their fourth try and Williamson added the extras.
Clock Face did score two minutes from the end, a try from Karle Hunt, converted by Jack Highcock, but it was only of statistical note but the game was won by then and Hensingham were already looking forward to a return to St Helens.
