
Westmorland Orchestra will open its new season with a concert celebrating the spirit, soul, and sophistication of three of the most iconic composers of the Romantic and Modern eras.
On Sunday November 16 at 7pm at Kendal Parish Church, the concert will be conducted by acclaimed Singaporean conductor Melvin Tay, beginning his second full season as the orchestra’s music director.
Programme highlights include Johannes Brahms – Hungarian Dances (Selections), Edward Elgar – Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85 and Béla Bartók – Concerto for Orchestra.
