
A man who died in a collision on the M6 last week has been named.
The collision took place on the M6 northbound just before Junction 45, near Gretna, at 6.40am on October 2.
Costica Balan, 63, of Spalding in Lincolnshire, died at the scene.
Mr Balan was Romanian and had lived in the UK for the past 16 years, working as a HGV driver.
His family said he was a beloved husband and father who will be dearly missed by everyone.
