All but one of the Fred Conway County Cup first round games are scheduled for Saturday.

The one exception will be Cockermouth v Langwathby, to be staged next week.

Holders Carlisle City, last season’s runners-up Penrith, Workington Reds and Carlisle United will come into the competition at the second round stage, which will be drawn on Tuesday.

Old rivalries will be renewed when Keswick clash with Wetheriggs as they had many a tense, close battle in the Westmorland League before Keswick moved to the Cumberland County League three years ago.

Other interesting games see the West Lancashire League pair Cleator Moor Celtic and Whitehaven on their travels.

Celtic go to Wigton Harriers while Whitehaven make the trip Calthwaite Juniors.

Windscale, from the Wearside League, visit Braithwaite.

The full list of ties scheduled for Saturday is:

  • Aspatria v Workington Juniors
  • Bransty Rangers v Whitehaven Miners Social
  • Eden Valley v Unisun Athletic
  • Maryport Athletic v Northbank
  • Mirehouse v Greystoke
  • Wetheriggs v Keswick
  • Wigton v Cleator Moor Celtic
  • Silloth v Kirkoswald
  • Calthwaite v Whitehaven
  • Braithwaite v Windscale
  • Fellside United v Dearham Utd
