A Barrow Post Office branch is set to open under new management later this month.
The town’s Oxford Street branch has been closed since April this year when the postmaster resigned.
The post Office said it will reopen at the same location on Thursday October 30 at 1pm.
Post Office area change manager Samuel Williams, said: ”We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted that the new owners of the store are reopening Oxford Street Post Office in Barrow-in-Furness.”
Oxford Street Post Office will offer the same services as previously.
