
A man in his 80s has been assaulted in a Carlisle supermarket car park.
The happened in the car park at Tesco on Warwick Road on October 12 between 3pm and 3.30pm.
The victim was struck to the face by a man, sustaining minor cuts.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the assault to come forward.
It was alleged to have been carried out by a white man, with a dark complexion, in his late 40s.
He had dark hair, slightly grey at the front. He was about 6ft and of a stocky build. He drove a grey 75 plate Ford van.
Officers are also seeking anyone who may have relevant dashcam, specifically covering the disabled bays at Tesco at the time of the incident.
