Temporary traffic lights will be installed on a north Cumbrian road for drainage work to take place.
Contractors are set to start work on Houghton Road, at Houghton, near Carlisle, on Monday October 27.
The work is expected to last seven days, subject to weather and site conditions.
Three-way temporary traffic lights will be in operation during the project.
Contractors will be on site between 8am and 4pm and the traffic lights will remain in place for the full duration of the project.
Cumberland Council said minor delays were to be expected, but waste collections and bus services would not be affected.
