There were Cumbrian winners at the National Conference awards night held in Huddersfield.
Fletcher Holgate, of Hensingham, had been nominated for the Division Two Player of the Year.
Another Cumbrian, Barrow Island’s Carl McBain had also been shortlisted for the same award.
Although all conquering East Leeds supplied the winner in Alfie Crawford there was ample consolation for Holgate.
He picked up the Peter Moore Young Player of the Year award as a result of scoring 10 tries and earning nine Player of the Match awards.
Egremont Rangers were also honoured as David Newton and David Cross received the Ground Person of the Year award.
Siddal hooker Jamie Greenwood was the Premier Division’s Player of the Year and Connor Parkinson of Wigan St Judes won the Division One award.
Josh Bradbury, of Saddleworth, took the award in Division Three.
