Saturday saw a return to Uldale for the third and final time this season where 77 hounds turned out.
All races were worth a £100 so it was one last time for owners and hounds to gain additional prize money for those lucky enough to get a ticket.
The opening senior trail had nine entries and Sportsman for Willie and Craig Mark was sent off as favourite.
There was no Silver Dream as she was having a well-earned rest having won every race she contested over the last few weeks.
Now five points clear it looks like she will be taking the championship title for a second year on the trot.
Once slipped it was Millie’s Lad for George McGimpsy, and Gillian and Millie Telford who went out well ahead of Embrace for Laura Steele, Andrew and Joel Bulman and Ian Rumney.
The hounds can be seen crossing the road and heading up the fell and it was Huntsman’s Time for Denise and Jenny Bland and Graham Little who was leading the way ahead of Embrace and Sportsman.
The hounds can then be seen climbing to the top of the far fell but are hard to see due to how far away they are.
The hounds can then be seen dropping down the fell out of sight and Embrace was leading ahead of Huntsman’s Time and two litter and kennel mates Millie’s Lass and Millie’s Lad with Huntsman’s Rebel in fifth.

The hounds then come back into sight going through the fell and Foxparke Honk Honk for Robyn, Ellie, Grace and Nicola Napier and Brooke Butler was leading the way ahead of Huntsman’s Rebel and Sportsman.
As they appeared on the finish Huntsman’s Rebel was now leading ahead of Millie’s Lass and Embrace.
But as they climbed up the finish Millie’s Lass finished well to claim the win from Embrace.
Millie’s Lad was third and kennel mates Huntsman’s Rebel and Huntsman’s Time took fourth and fifth. The final ticket went to Sportsman, which was a good performance as he may have been short of a little running.
For the senior maidens there was a slip of 20, and Senor for Malcolm Holmes was sent off as the favourite.
The hounds can be seen crossing the road and heading up the fell and Flecky Jack for Shaun, Donna, Becky and Luke Hetherington was leading the way ahead of Audacity for Holly and Lisa Whitfield with Senor in third and Dundee for Neil and Gillian Brown, and Joel and Derrick Bulman following.
Reports came in from the puppy split that Thorn Thunder for Joanna, Martin, Molly and Teddy Burrows had established a slight advantage over Audacity, Meadow Lane for Paul and Joanne Airey and Senorita for Malcolm Holmes.
As they dropped down the fell there was a good line of hounds racing on well and when they appeared back in sight going through the fell Dundee was now leading ahead of Flecky Jack, Foxparke Whoosh for Robyn, Ellie, Grace and Nicola Napier and Brooke Butler with Audacity in fourth.
On the finish Dundee had still an advantage but Flecky Jack stayed on well and there was a good race between them.

In the end Dundee got there first ahead of Flecky Jack and Audacity with Foxparke Whoosh in fourth.
Peggy Sue for Gillian Brown and Micky O’Brien finished fast for fifth ahead of Thorn Thunder.
The pups had a slip of 14, and Tucker for Nicola McMaster and Anthony Skelton was sent off as favourite.
From the slip Tucker got off to good start at the front along with Maggie for Les and Graham Reid, Erin Rowlandson, Barbara Jones and Steven Walker.
The hounds can then be seen climbing up the fell and Foxparke Rita’s Rose for Robyn, Ellie, Grace and Nicola Napier, Brooke Butler and Darren Clark was leading the way ahead of Jenny’s Chance for Denise and Jenny Bland, Graham Little and Ella and Kyle Gallacher.
Huntsman’s Unite for Denise and Jenny Bland and Graham Little and Tucker followed on with a 30-yard gap to the chasing pack.
As they appeared into sight Foxparke Rita’s Rose and Jenny’s Chance were still leading the way from Tucker and Maggie with championship leader Delta Fortune for Sarah and Baz Harper and Hartley Robinson in fifth.
As they appeared on the finish Jenny’s Chance had established a handy advantage over Tucker and Maggie, and she came on well to claim win number 11 of the season.
She was ahead of littermate Maggie who just got up to beat Tucker by a short head on the line (Jenny’s Aura/Spring Dazzler).
Table leader Delta Fortune ran a good race in fourth and Zoya was fifth.
The final ticket went to Foxparke Rita’s Rose.

The puppy maidens saw 13 at the slip with Thorn Bee for Martin, Molly and Teddy Burrow the favourite.
Heartside, for Stuart, James and Jacob Jeynes went out well ahead of Deggsey Moon for Tracey, Carolyn and Derrick Hill with Foxparke Cheese and Beans for Robyn, Ellie, Grace and Nicola Napier, Brooke Butler and Glenis Farren in third.
As they climbed up the fell Heartside, Foxparke Cheese and Beans and Thorn Bee had got a lead on the rest and still had that advantage as they dropped down the fell out of sight.
When they reappeared there were now five in the leading bunch.
Foxparke Cheese and Beans was heading them from TikTok for Anna and Kerry Lindsay and Janie McAulay, Heartside, Thorn Bee and Prospect Jill for Stuart Smith.
On the finish Foxparke Cheese and Beans was still leading by 20 yards from the chasing group but as they neared the line Heartside put in a final spurt to win from TikTok.
Foxparke Cheese and Beans had to settle for third with Thorn Bee in fourth and Prospect Jill fifth.
The final ticket went to Spring Gardener for Jenny Horn.
The final race of the day was for the open restricted with a slip of 21.
Huntsman’s Sparkle for Tracey, Carolyn and Derrick Hill was sent off favourite.
When they went on their way Huntsman’s Sparkle got away well ahead of Let’s Go For It for Ruth and Charlie Dixon with Blue Striker for Brian and Erin Rowlandson and Billy Birkett in third.
As they climbed up the fell Huntsman’s Sparkle extended her lead to 350 yards ahead of the chasing pack which was being led by Blue Striker and Let’s Go For It.
As they dropped down out of sight Huntsman’s Sparkle was still leading the way from Blue Striker but he had pulled away from the chasing pack with a 50-yard gap to Hey Mac for Neil and Gillian Brown and Joel and Derrick Bulman and Huntsman’s Quantum for Jim, Ann, Alan and Adrian Little.
When they appeared again Huntsman’s Sparkle had maintained her lead ahead of Blue Striker and Let’s Go For It.
Then on the finish Huntsman’s Sparkle still had a great lead and claimed the win ahead of Let’s Go For It and Blue Striker with Hey Mac in fourth and Maggie Moon for Tracey, Carolyn and Derrick Hill in fifth. The final ticket went to Castle Callant for Marti and Amy Borrowick.
