A man wanted by other police forces in the UK was found in Cumbria, where he was about to start a new job.
South Lakes police said officers went to Kirkby Lonsdale on Thursday after information from Thames Valley Police and Lancashire Police that the wanted man was in the county.
South Lakes police said: “He was arrested, having travelled yesterday to begin his new job.
“Travelling the country won’t stop us finding you.”
