
A man has been charged with a drug supply crime after being stopped on the M6.
Michael Jeffers, 38, of Miville Road, Manchester, was stopped on Thursday evening.
He has been charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of criminal property.
He was remanded to appear to Carlisle magistrate today, Friday November 14.
The investigation is part of Operation Alliance, a wider response to protect the county against serious and organised crime.
