
Barrow went down to a late winner, beaten at Bromley by an 88th minute goal which stemmed from some slack defending.
Nicke Kabamba’s strike made it 2-1 for the home side, a win that lifted them to fifth in the table.
Barrow were heading towards a hard-earned point when Kabamba struck and there was not enough time to get back into the game.
They had fallen behind after half an hour when full-back Marcus Ifill surgedf forward and from 20 yards curled a fine shot beyond Wyll Stanway.
The Bluebirds had offered little threat in the first-half but they scored five minutes after the re-start with their first shot on target.
Ben Whitfield took his opportunity to drive the ball home from the edge of the area after Bromley had made a mess of a clearance.
They almost went in front but Josh Gordon was just wide with a header while a header at the other end, from Deji Elerewe was also narrowly the wrong side of the post.
Stanway was Barrow’s saviour, making two good saves to keep out efforts from Will Hondermarck and Elerewe but he was helpless to prevent the winner. Michael Cheek teed-up Kabamba after profiting from a defensive mistake.
