The A66 Keswick bypass was closed westbound yesterday following a collision.
Emergency services were called to the scene yesterday, Sunday November 23 at around 4pm.
Highways staff were also in attendance to help make the scene safe.
The road was likely to be closed for some time, police said.
No official confirmation has been given that the road has reopened, but it is believed to now be clear, on Monday November 24.
