Kendal Town have signed midfielder Will McGladdery following his release by Workington Reds.
He had joined Reds in the summer after an outstanding season with Holker Old Boys when he was named Players’ Player of the Year.
A tidy footballer who impressed in pre-season he suffered an injury issue early in the NPL Premier Division season and did not get a lot of game time after that.
After completing the signing Kendal manager Matt Flynn said: “I’m really pleased to have Will on board.
“He’s technically gifted, covers the pitch well and has a great mentality.
“He ticks the right boxes in terms of the profile of player I want to bring to the football club. I’d like to thank Billy Barr and Workington for their co-operation.”
Kendal travel to Horden for their latest Northern League fixture and McGladdery is expected to be in the squad.
