On another weather-affected weekend only three games were played in the Cumberland County League – two of them on artificial surfaces.
The big game was in the Benevolent Cup in Carlisle where Unisun Athletic hosted their main Premier Division rivals, reigning champions Maryport Athletic.
Two weeks earlier Unisun had won 1-0 at Maryport in the Fred Conway County Cup but this time the West Cumbrians took their revenge big style, winning 5-0.
Carl Denver (2), Ciaran Laverty (2) and Cieran Booty scored for Maryport in an impressive victory after they had only led 1-0 at half-time.
In the Conway Cup Cockermouth were 2-0 home winners over Mirehouse as second-half strikes from Kyran Bertram and Sam Wright put the hosts through.
There was a single game played in Division One in which Silloth shared the spoils 2-2 with their visitors Cockermouth reserves.
Bradley Williamson and Conner Jackson scored for Silloth while Joe Briers and Keith Skillen netted for Cockermouth.
