They eventually extended their perfect record with a narrow 3-2 away win against Division Two’s Workington Golf Club.
Tom Thompson set the tone early for the visitors with a composed performance and solid safety play to see off Bryan Walker 64-20 in the opener.
Darren Lawson then doubled the lead with a break of 39 helping him to a 66-34 win over Phil Sorfleet.
Workington Golf Club hit back strongly in frame three as Lewis Tilley played fluently to see off John Teasdale 64-41, before Mark Brasted continued the fightback with a 69–38 victory over Shane Lowrey, to draw the Golfers level.
Kevin Kirkham produced a dominant display, including a string of superb pots, to beat Simon Fraser 86–40 in the decider and clinch the Station Road win.
In an all-Division One contest, Workington Veterans Club secured a 3-2 home win over Workington Conservative Club in a match full of momentum shifts.
Mark Tunstall got the hosts going with some fine long potting in a 60-39 win over Julian Plaza, but the visitors responded well as Alan Moore delivered a consistent performance to defeat Vets’ Paul Johnston 54-15.

Kevin Basnett then put the Veterans back ahead with a 71-22 success over Richard McCarthy, in a solid display.
However, an in-form Ryan Barker made it 2-2 for the Cons after overcoming Mark Tatton 62-28 in frame four.
In the deciding frame, Vets sealed the match victory with a 74-40 win over Brian Kendall.
In a tense Division 2 showdown, Whitehaven’s Rack Shack edged out Maryport Social 3-2 at home.
Ryan Ismay opened for the away side with a solid 55-17 victory over Lee Dougherty, but the Rack levelled immediately through Phil Denvir, who battled hard for a 76-33 win against Sal Cakmak.
The third frame went to the home side as Neil Dougherty struck several crucial pots to defeat Andrew Skidmore 58-40.
The Rack Shack then moved into an unassailable 3-1 lead with a 54-44 win for Chris McKelvey over Andrew Scott.

The final frame saw Maryport’s Stuart Shepherd claw a point back with a steady 49-35 win against Adam Morilla to end the match on top at 3-2.
Workington’s United Club B turned in a clinical performance to defeat fellow Division Two outfit Workington Legion 4-1 at home.
Shane Tallentire started the night with a strong 68-29 win over Dan Hallam, before Richard Kirkham delivered a 45-15 result against Adam Hodgson to double the advantage.
Stephen Jackson then produced a fluent showing in a 71-37 win over Simon Tootle to put the hosts ahead 3-0.
Adam Sowden followed with a composed 46-30 win over Gary Burdon to threaten the whitewash at 4-0.
Legion managed to grab a consolation point, however, as Jordan Ferguson fought hard to edge Stephen Harrison 51-44 in the final frame.
