Westmorland County FA have secured a new VEO camera, available for clubs to hire from January.
Hire price is £25 which includes up to three matches being recorded over the weekend by the club.
VEO has become a standard tool for coaching teams across the country and the Westmorland County FA have expressed their delight at now being able to offer it to their member clubs.
This particular resource allows clubs to record matches across all age groups; analyse team and individual performances and support player and coach development.
It will also help support and develop other areas of the game including: enabling remote coaching and mentoring for referees, including those on the promotion pathway; supporting referee monthly training with the county FA; player analysis for the county’s Girls Emerging Talent Centre and highlights packages of County Cup finals.
James Pattison, the county FA CEO, said: “We are thrilled to finally have a Westmorland County FA VEO Camera which is going to enhance the experience of so many people involved in the game locally.
“From an organisation perspective we will be able to conduct more Referee mentoring and coaching remotely, increase our player analysis work in our Girls Emerging Talent Centre and enhance our County Cup offer.
“We are delighted we will be offering clubs and organisations the opportunity to hire the VEO camera for their own personal use too.
“We can’t wait to see even more local action captured through the VEO camera!”
Throughout the season, the county FA will be offering some free camera use to clubs that go the extra mile to create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment as part of their reward and recognition programme.
