
Train services have resumed in Cumbria.
Northern cancelled all services on Sunday and yesterday following weather warnings that were issued for the county.
The Met Office lifted the amber and yellow weather warnings yesterday afternoon.
However, it said its route between Barrow and Manchester Airport had been affected by damage to railway embankment between Chorley and Preston.
Trains must run at a reduced speed and may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
People are urged to check before they travel.
Avanti and TransPennine Express services are running as normal today, Tuesday December 16.
