
A minor earthquake has been felt in South Cumbria this morning.
A light magnitude 2.5 earthquake hit in Silverdale at around 5am today, Friday December 19.
The British Geological Survey said it had a depth of 3km and it is being reported that it was felt widely in the area.
It is the second minor earthquake in the area this month.
On December 4, a minor earthquake was registered in the Carnforth area.
