
A man was taken to hospital following a collision with a bus in Carlisle.
The man, who was a pedestrian on St Nicholas Street, was involved in the incident with the bus on Friday, December 19.
Police were called at around 8pm and the road was closed while emergency services, including two ambulances and the Great North Air Ambulance Critical Care Team, attended.
St Nicholas Street was closed between Botchergate and St Nicholas Bridge following the incident.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to the city’s Cumberland Infirmary.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
