An Indian whisky experience will be held at a Lake District restaurant in the new year.

India Unbound will be held at Ivy House in Braithwaite, near Keswick, on January 23.

Curated by Single Malt Amateur Club India — one of India’s most respected whisky collectives — the showcase is an opportunity to explore the craft, culture and contemporary excellence of India’s leading whisky producers.

In recent years, Indian single malts have earned international accolades, challenged traditional notions of terroir, and emerged as some of the most vibrant contemporary whiskies on the world stage.

The first experience was held in 2023 and Ivy House has invited SMAC India to return for 2026.

India Unbound will be in a guided format that blends education, storytelling and sensory exploration and features food pairings with the spirits.
