
A man was injured in a collision on the A6 involving a bus and a car.
The incident happened at Hackthorpe on Saturday, January 3, at around 3.35pm.
The driver of the car, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with injuries and is in a stable condition.
Police said his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
There were no reported injuries to any of the passengers on the bus or the driver.
Cumbria police said their Initial enquiries indicated there was no evidence to suggest that the diversion or traffic resulting from the M6 closure contributed to the collision.
