Miners A staged a brilliant comeback in their match against Wigton Park Bowling Club by winning all three doubles.

The Bowling Club lads took a 4-2 lead after the singles, but Miners came back well as Karl Charters and Stu Irwin won both their games.

Sun Inn B remain second in the table as they won their match against Letters B by 7 frames to 2. Ben Scott continued his recent good run of form with another eight ball clearance in his singles game.

Dave Edwards, Ian Frizzle and Willie Armstrong also won their games for Sun Inn.

Letters A pulled off a surprise win against the in-form Sun Inn FC team with some good play which saw them take a 4-2 lead after the singles.
