Two men from Penrith have been charged with being concerned in the supply of ketamine after a police raid last week.
Officers from Eden’s Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the warrant on Thursday January 8 in the town.
Matthew Graham, 31, of Raiselands Croft, Penrith, and Steven Metcalfe, 38 of Macadam Way, Penrith, were both charged.
Graham has been remanded into custody and is due to appear before court on January 29.
Metcalfe is due to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on February 9.
Another person arrested has been released under investigation.
Inspector Mo Bibby, of Eden NPT, said: “Information from the public plays a vital role in helping police identify and disrupt suspected criminal activity in our communities.
“We encourage anyone with concerns about drug dealing, or other crime, to come forward, as even small details can make a difference.”
