Workington Comets have been drawn against old rivals Berwick Bandits in the 2026 MAXiCab KO Cup.

They will meet home and away in the quarter finals of a competition and means Bandits skipper Jye Etheridge and Comets new signing Jonas Jeppesen both take on their clubs of last year.

Holders Poole have been drawn into the preliminary round where they will face Scunthorpe in a repeat of the 2023 final where the Scorpions pulled off a dramatic victory.

The winners of that tie will face Oxford in the quarter-finals, whilst last season’s defeated Finalists Redcar will open their challenge with a quarter-final tie against Edinburgh.

Meanwhile there is a long-distance quarter-final as Plymouth take on Glasgow.

All ties to take place over two legs.

  • Preliminary round: Scunthorpe v Poole
  • Quarter-finals: Scunthorpe/Poole v Oxford, Edinburgh v Redcar, Berwick v Workington, Plymouth v Glasgow
