Two youths have been arrested after two police officers were assaulted in Workington.
Allerdale Police said the incident took place on Friday night, while officers were out on patrol dealing with an incident of anti social behaviour.
The two youths were arrested and released on bail.
A dispersal order was then put in place on Saturday which resulted in five youths being issued with a dispersal notice and being instructed to leave the town centre.
Three youths went on to breach their dispersal notice, which is an offense, and officers said the breaches are being dealt with.
Allerdale Police said they have been carrying out patrols in the area due to continued reports of youth crime and antisocial behaviour.
