
A road will be closed for two weeks so it can be resurfaced by Cumberland Council.
The C4028 at Ulpha, near Broughton-in-Furness will be closed for around 2.4km to its junction with the U4281, Hall Bridge at Dunnerdale from Monday, February 9.
The work is expected to take up to two weeks, subject to weather and site conditions.
The work will take place Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 6pm.
Traffic marshals will be on site throughout to assist residents in accessing their properties where possible.
Access for refuse collections will be maintained when safe to do so.
Access will be maintained at all times for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
