Resurfacing work due to start on Monday have been postponed.
The C4028 at Ulpha, near Broughton-in-Furness was due to be closed for around 2.4km to its junction with the U4281, Hall Bridge at Dunnerdale from Monday, February 9 for up to two weeks.
However, Cumberland Council said the work has now been postponed due to “unforeseen priority work that requires immediate attention”.
It added that the Ulpha work will still go ahead and new dates will be confirmed in the coming days.
